one of the evening as we waited to practise the different songs and other performance on the welcome evening to the norwegian students. as i didnot mention, we the internationals arrived 3days before before them. very thankful 4 that coz that kinda gave us time to take in the new place and receive some practical information on how to survive and relate with them especially with the cultural differences. i loved the unity and zeal that people expended coz we managed to put aperformance on such short notice, people started sharing their different ideas... thank God for bright heads, they are good to kip around for such times.
that is half of the international group on the day we were going to present. as u can notice some costumes were worn but some of us stuck to our usual trademark; jeans. sory dar nimanya nogira ngu jeans neza aha campus konka nosha nziremiremu, konka niwe omanye ngu omurimo gwagye nigwenda such. the brazilians are the most patriotic in the group(personal realization)they love their footballers hence the jerseys.
this pic came out dark but opefully you can see something. honestly if it was in my powers would not have sang the song, it reminded me of those primary songs. something like...'you are welcome our visitors...' (does it bring memories?). but for unity's sake went up and sang the song. it was followed by anursery rhyme in norsk- you can be sure the pronuciation of the words was totaly wrong, i only prayed we didnt say something we didnt mean.
naturally the orange top is none other myself. but still in the tourist stage so no worries and troubles.
